What causes hip and knee pain? How can it be prevented? What new treatments are available? A free community seminar sponsored by the Joint Care Center at Avista Adventist Hospital will offer answers to these and other important questions.
The seminar on hip and knee pain will be held Thursday, March 25, at 11 a.m., in the Spicer Room on the Avista Adventist Hospital campus in Louisville. Attendees will receive joint pain information and have the opportunity to sign up for an initial consultation with a Joint Care Center physician if they desire. Presenters include Deborah Rue, RN, Joint Care Center coordinator, and Penny Myers, Joint Care Center physical therapist.
"More than 40 percent of Americans with chronic joint pain could benefit from advances in joint care, but haven’t even consulted a physician," says Rue. "We want people to know they can find relief now, and that they don’t have to suffer."
The seminars are free and open to the public. To register, call 303-661-4310.
