Nurse-Family Partnership®, a leading non-profit organization addressing the needs of low income, first-time parents and their children, today announced that Molly O’Fallon, R.N. has joined the organization as Director of Program Quality. O’Fallon joins the senior management team at the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) National Service Office in supporting state and local agencies that are replicating the Nurse-Family Partnership home visitation program nationwide. She will lead the Program Quality Support department.
O’Fallon joins NFP from the Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN), where she served as Clinical Quality Division Director since 2006. At CCHN, O’Fallon directed the design, implementation and oversight of quality and performance improvement programs. Previously, she served in quality improvement and community health management positions with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing, and several organizations in Texas, including the Baylor Health Care System, JPS Health System and Texas Woman’s University. In addition, O’Fallon has clinical nursing experience with the Parkland Healthcare System in Dallas, the Visiting Nursing Association of Texas, and Denver Children’s Hospital.
O’Fallon succeeds Cindy Eby, who after eight years with Nurse-Family Partnership is resigning to pursue other opportunities, including ongoing contractual work with the organization. Eby will transition the leadership role to O’Fallon through late July.
"Molly’s appointment signals our organizational commitment to continuous quality improvement, particularly in light of the opportunity to expand Nurse-Family Partnership programs through the new federal home visitation program," said Thomas R. Jenkins, Jr., President and CEO. "Molly brings exceptional quality improvement skills blended with the perspective of a nursing professional. I believe she is uniquely positioned to build upon the strong quality foundation that Cindy has established during her tenure with us. I’m delighted to welcome Molly aboard as a key member of our leadership team."
O’Fallon earned a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Colorado Denver and a M.S. in Nursing with a maternal-child health focus from Texas Woman’s University, where she also earned her certification as a Community-Family Nurse Practitioner.
